How to take care of your PC
  1. Keep your work area clean.
  2. Save your work often.
  3. Hold disks and CD-ROMs by the edges.
  4. Close all programs before you shut down your computer.
  5. Don't bring food or drinks near your computer to protect it
      from spills.
  6. Dust your computer and shake dirt out of the keyboard.
  7. Keep magnets away from your computer and disks.
      Magnets can erase information.
  8. Do not bump or drop the computer peripherals.
  9. Always scan for computer viruses.
10. Always use AVR to regulate the electricity.
11. Give your computer a proper ventilation.
12. You can download software that will monitor your computers
      heat level so you know if you need to shut it down for a few 
      hours to cool off.


User's Health and Risks and Prevention
Good Working Habits

1. Tap on the keys and mouse buttons gently.
2.  Avoid staring at the monitor for long period. Try to blink for
     awhile as an eye exercises. Close or rest the eyes for a couple
     of minute.
3.  Avoid long, uninterrupted periods of typing. If you are typing
     long take a short break to stretch you body if possible every
     20 minutes.


Proper Workstation Design


1.  Place your computer in a comfortable room, well ventilated and clean.
2.  Place mouser where it is easily accessible by your dominant hand.
3.  Position your computer correctly.
4 . Use an adjustable workstation and an inorganic computer char.
5.  Use a document holder to minimize vertical head movements.

Health risks:
 PC's emit radiation and can cause damage to our health due to prolonged use. 


Identify the things that can harm your computer. Give a short explanation for your answer.
*    Viruses. This can harm the computer leading to malfunctioning because some of the carrier of the viruses could damage files and cause the software malfunction.


Give five(5) reasons why computers may not function properly.
*    Overheating can cause the computer to malfunction and you can lose your files.
*    Dropping the computer peripherals or components as any damages may cause not functioning properly.
*    Food bits attract insects like ants and cockroaches that can penetrate the hardware and cause computer malfunction.
*    Keep you computer area clean as cigarette smoke can clog your computer hardware that will lead to malfunctioning of the computer.
*    Internet connection and external storage devices often carry viruses that could damage files and cause software malfunction.
